Honestly, the American Left needs to shift away from identity politics. It doesn’t seem to be working electorally for them. The loss of Hispanic males is a big indication of this.
Can we add that they also need a platform that invites people in that have been kept out for so long. They can be anti-war, pro-worker, anti-monopoly, pro-community.
While the financial sector has been friends with the Democratic Party for a long time, they have never been friendly to us.
The vast majority of the left cannot see their side clearly vis-a-vis the culture wars, not so with the other side. Education has become so infused with wokeshevekology that the Trump/Vance side are floating abolishing the department of education so kids (& young adults in the academy) aren’t being brainwashed into the wokeshevek religion. Plenty of people on this platform can tell you how ideology has replaced reason in these matters; critical thinking has been abandoned on the wokeshevek left. Harris was chosen because of DEI; the DNC is completely possessed by DEI.
This is not just a US phenomenon but possibly one that has afflicted all developed countries, with each country finding its own DEI or historic wrong obsession.
